Randy Malamud

Randy Malamud, Regents’ Professor of English at Georgia State University in Atlanta, has written ten books, including The Language of Modernism (UMI, 1989); Reading Zoos: Representations of Animals and Captivity (Macmillan/NYU Press, 1998); Poetic Animals and Animal Souls (Palgrave Macmillan, 2003); The Importance of Elsewhere: The Globalist Humanist Tourist (Intellect/University of Chicago Press, 2018); and Email (forthcoming, 2019, in Bloomsbury’s Object Lessons series). His essays on film appear in The Chronicle of Higher Education, The Point, Film Quarterly, Truthout, Spring and Film International.
