Ari Mattes is Lecturer in Media Studies at the University of Notre Dame Australia. He has written widely on contemporary screen and media culture, and has published in Australian and international journals. He has recently co-edited a book about film and urban space, Filming the City (Intellect 2016), and writes a regular column, “Vision Culture”, for The Conversation.
