Matthew Michaud is an instructor in the School of Communications and a lab supervisor in the School of Motion Picture Arts at Capilano University, North Vancouver, Canada. Michaud’s research interests include communicative competence, educational technology, Indigenization, new media, and Japanese cinema. Justin Richardson was a Lecturer in English for Academic Purposes in the Department of International Relations at Kyoto Sangyo University, Japan. Areas of focus included popular culture as pedagogy, technology in the classroom, and testing and assessment.
